Overview

Colcoor provides tools for structuring, branching, and organizing AI-assisted learning and research conversations. The software is available as a source-available extension and may be used in local mode or with a connected Colcoor backend. Commercial production use is governed by the Business Source License 1.1 and, where applicable, a separate commercial agreement.

Use of the service

You may use Colcoor only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not abuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any connected service, its infrastructure, or other users' data. We may limit, suspend, or remove access for inactive, abusive, or harmful usage of connected services.

Local and connected operation

In local mode, conversation data stays under the current workspace on your machine and no Colcoor backend or sign-in is required. Collaboration features are unavailable in local mode. Connected mode may require an account and uses Colcoor backend services for shared conversations, collaboration, and related features.

Customer content

You retain ownership of the content you provide to Colcoor. For connected services, you grant us the limited rights needed to operate, secure, support, and improve those services. For local mode, customer content remains under your control on your systems. Private or commercial deployments may be governed by a separate agreement.

Availability and changes

Colcoor is in active development. Features, limits, pricing, and availability may change. We will try to communicate important changes clearly.

Licensing and paid plans

Colcoor is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1. Personal use, educational use, academic research, and internal non-production evaluation are allowed under that license. Organizations need a commercial license for production use, hosted/SaaS offerings, commercial product embedding, OEM distribution, or selling services or products based on Colcoor. Connected paid plans, if offered later, will publish their own commercial terms before checkout is enabled.
